Good afternoon! I'm sorry I haven't been on in a while. Life just caught up with me! Where to begin.. My last journal introduced you to myself and explained about my pregnancy, I'm going to call it the.. Monster Bump. The day I found out I was pregnant I was thrilled, filled with so many emotions, but the thing I couldn't wait for was the bump! It would give me the excitement that I would be able to walk around and actually look pregnant, without having to scare strangers with my pregnancy rants... I was even looking forward to how I would look with a bump. I even started experimenting and stuffing anything that could resemble a bump with up my shirts, this didn't impress the hubby so I soon stopped and settled for patience. 4 months later and the bump was beginning to take shape and I was quite disappointed at first. Oh what a silly silly silly thought. When I hit 7 months I couldn't see my toes, after spending way too much on new shoes to suite my swollen feet. Any other women out there who get swollen feet from pregnancy, let me know! At 8 months I was reaching bursting point.. I felt I couldn't carry her around for another day, let alone another month! I had to borrow my husband's shirts when I was at my biggest, what a fine figure of a women I was... The last month was a drag, I couldn't wait until she would finally decide to show her face to the world. On the 17th November, 4:13am - my beautiful baby girl arrived. She weighed a healthy 6 pounds on the dot and is doing brilliantly. One month on and she is soon to celebrate her first Christmas, it's amazing how many presents she's going to get! Daisy, you are the most amazing gift I could ever recieve. Thank you so much for making your Mummy and Daddy's life complete. I can't wait to wake up to your beautiful face and see you grow.
I'll post pictures and more information on my baby girl Daisy after Christmas. It's been an eventful year and I thank everyone who has given me support.
